Like a lot of ladies out there, I love awards season. Not because I can’t wait to see which of my favorite TV shows and movies win awards (truth be told, I don’t know half of the nominees), it’s because of the gorgeous gowns! I’ve rounded up my Top 4 looks from the Golden Globes last night, in no particular order:

Kate Hudson was absolutely stunning in Versace. As if a white, fitted dress wasn’t ballsy enough, a plunging neckline and side slits did the trick. I love the guts and confidence this dress required, not to mention how banging her body looks.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Channing Tatum’s oh-so-lucky wife) surprised me in a buttercup yellow Carolina Herrera gown. There were a few yellow moments on the red carpet last night, but this was the best of the lot. I bow down to anyone who can look effortlessly chic in pale yellow, ruffles and a train.

Dakota Johnson made me giddy with excitement. She is the star of Fifty Shades of Grey (coming out February 14, CAN’T WAIT), and her dress couldn’t have been more appropriate. The dark silver sequined gown looks amazing against her fair skin, best of all it alludes to her upcoming film.

And Emma Stone, anyone who wears a Lanvin jumpsuit to the Golden Globes is a girl after my own heart. The fit, the glam of the beaded bodice, the elegant bow on the back, the pointy black pumps — it’s perfection.

Now, mark your calendars for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Sunday, January 25!
