Sweater: Anthropologie, here; jeans, Current/Elliott, old, similar here; boots, Steve Madden, old, similar here; hat, old, similar here, here and here; sunglasses, Third Culture, here; watch, Nixon, here.
Suede and I opted for a pre-Christmas road trip in lieu of gifts this year. (Because studies on happiness say experiences bring about more contentment than things…) We headed to one of our favorite places, Disneyland (!!). And no, not just because it’s the happiest place on earth, and not just because it fills us with childlike wonder and awe. But, because we are in complete admiration of the creativity and innovation put into every detail. And each time we leave feeling inspired.
We got a reeeaaaallllyyy early start to maximize our time there, which meant dressing for the car ride, for standing in line, for all the walking, the junk food-eating and late night theme-parking. I chose a cozy cotton sweater, jeans with some give, boots (for warmth and unanticipated weather) and a hat to keep my noggin warm when the temps drop. (Get the title? instead of an outfit, a route-fit… because we’re on the road… hahahaha.)
The photo backdrop is courtesy of Quartzsite, AZ, at the Queen of Peace Mission Catholic Church. It was a beautiful, small church and Suede captured the magical morning light. We’ll follow with a post of photo highlights from our adventure.
